Interactive image tuning
using the following special tools:
- 3 levels of image quality
for ultre-fast calculations.
- Interactive texture
painting on 3D objects (Ray-Painting) : same as the Photoshop paintbrush,
but in 3D !!
- Interactive texture alignement on objects. (wood veins,...)
- Texture scaling, rotation, translation, modification/edition.
- Fine tuning of the Maps positions.
- Linear renderings, randoms or macro pixel renderings giving a fast preview of the image without calculating all the image.
- Monotex renderings : applies a single texture to all objects on the stage to ease the lightening studies.
- Single object or group of objects rendering.
- Patch rendering. Calculates a selected piece of the image at it's final resolution.
- Light positioning by its
specular glare. Click in the scene where you want the specular glare to appear
in the current viewpoint. a MUST for the Designers !.

- Beam-tracing photorealistic rendering. The 3D XtaZ images are surprisingly soft and non- aggressive.
- Unequalled calculation speed with the beam-tracing technic.
- Adjustable aliasing quality.
- Rendering on screen and/or on Disk.
- Depth Z-Buffer for special effects ( Stereograms, Photoshop filters,..)
- Unlimited image size, even in small memory size : special technic to render by patches and seamless glue the patches in the disk image file. A 10000*10000 image is just an easy trick for 3D XtaZ ! Can also render only selected patches.
- Stop and later restart image calculations.
- Deferred renderings : produces editable image script files to be rendered later in a batch (during night...).
